The Journey Photographs
Now that I've finished my model, I have to take note and photograph the journey of the labyrinth. I wished I could use the school photography studio, but I couldn't come to school due to some reasons, so I have to take the photograps at home.
Here are some of the photographs:-
This is the entrance of the labyrinth.
The journey continues, in search of an exit.
And finally, the exit.
From the photos that I took, I actually realize that they don't look professional at all. but this is all I could do due to time constraints. And I couldn't find a black background. This may all seem like excuses, but this is the truth. I used whatever I have and could find.

The Tiles
I used my Set C templates for the tiles that I'm going to paint.
I used markers to draw and outline the templates so it will be easier for me to paint later. All of these approximately took me around 2 hrs just to outline it.
And I decided to use poster colour to paint the tiles. I wanted to use acrylic, because the acrylic colour will definitely stay on the tiles, but unfortunately, I do not have them, so I will have to make use of the poster colour. Here are the colours that I use:-
Blue
Reddish brown
Dark Green
Golden brown
As you can see from the tube, it says fine colour, not poster colour. Fine colour is a new product, an improved version of poster colour (this is what it says on the cover)
And because the paint will come off eventually, I sprayed the tiles with this acrylic spray, which cost me about $16 (very expensive). This will protect the paint and the tiles, and give a smooth glossy finish to it.
This is my finished product:-
There are some parts where the colour was chipped and peeled. This was due to my sibling touching the tile before the acrylic had dried off. I couldn't paint it over, as the acrylic has already covered the tiles.

Completion of the ModelI've somehow completed my model. Using aluminium wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. Firstly, the cutting was ok, but there were lots of sharp edges that gave lots of injuries to my hand while cutting it. Which was pretty painful.
Furthermore, it's difficult to stick on the wood. I tried using super glue but to no effect, it will come off immediately, so for some I just used masking tape, and to others, I used contact glue, which is SUPER smelly!! I get headaches after that.
Personally, I feel that my model needs lots of improvements, such as the additions of walls and pavements, but due to lack of time, this is the best that I can come up with. So, I really really need to have a better time management.

As I bulid my model, this was my plan:
1) I decided to use aluminium as I really do not have time to stay back in school to use the workshops and the aluminium can be cut easily at home.
2) The tesselation I decided was my Set A as I felt that this set was the most suitable one - the other two set was too complicated for me, with lots of lines etc. The set A tesselation also have too much lines and layers and thus I felt that I have to cut down some or my model will be too complicated.

Well, this is a start of a big project.
Make a 3D 40cm by 40cm by 40cm cube.
We were given timber strips for the frame but we had to cut it into size by ourselves.
So, workshop here we come!!
Hehe, well that was the first time I held a hacksaw. But it felt exhilarating. Is that weird? I used the hacksaw rather than the machine as I felt no confidence using the machine. I did try cutting the strips by the machine though, and I totally couldn't control, so I just use the hacksaw.
And putting the strips together was a challenge as well. I used super glue as the basis, to hold all the timber strips and forming the frame. I think I'll nail the strips together.
