To Laselle
These are the building structures. The design is creative and very modernized. But to me, being in the buiding, you won't have a lot of privacy as the walls are mostly glass. It's a little inconvenienced

I like this particular masterpiece. It looks like a very mysterious and haunted house, eh? And the lighting used, it emphasise the theme of the piece.

Drawings on the wall.
A painting that caught my eye. Well, there were other pieces that caught my eye as well, but photos aren't allowed to be taken there.

Styrofoam feature / carpet. Makes the space a little cozier.

Overall, after visiting the graduating students' exhibition, I realized that the students are really creative and they put lots of effort and hardwork into the works their doing. And while I was there I was wondering, 'are we able to produce these kind of works?' Their works look really professional and can't be compared to the one's that we are doing right now. But these thoughts doesn't faze me. Instead they give me the inspiration and determination to do better.

The start of ontography

Well, term 2 starts as of now. And we have taken a step forward in design studio.
And that is Ontography. What is Ontography?

From the lectures I attended, onthography to me is like something created from our subconscious mind, something that we do without really knowing that we are doing it. And this was introduced by the director of SD.

We were supposed to hold a pencil, with our face really close to the paper and just draw without thinking anything, really slowly. Very difficult, to me as it's very difficult not to think anything. No matter how many times I tried to clear my mind and to stop thinking, but still, my mind will start to wonder off somewhere. So this is quite a challenge to me. But this is just a practice. I think as I do this more often, I will get better.
